I made this sweet little bunting for a friend who just moved to New York. It was a great way to use up some colorful scraps left over from this project, and a little embroidery hoop I've had lying around.
I simply ironed some fabric scraps to a piece of fusible interfacing, cut out tiny triangles, and attached them to the linen backing with a line of stitching along the top edge of each flag. The "hello" is hand-stitched as well. To keep my letters neat, I wrote on the linen with pencil, and then stitched along the letters with black embroidery thread.
Now I want to make one to hang by my front door!
So cute, what a great way to use up some scraps. I saw this clock, and it would go perfectly with your hello sign : http://www.lilsugar.com/Button-Craft-Ideas-18611674?slide=1
